We want you to shop with confidence. If you need to return a product, here’s how our refunds and returns process works.


1. Change of Mind Returns

You may return unworn, unused items in their original condition with tags attached within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.To be eligible:

  • The item must be in original condition
  • Tags and packaging must still be attached
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided

Please note: Items purchased on sale may be eligible for exchange or store credit only.


2. Faulty or Not as Described

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or remedy if the item:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Does not match the description or sample
  • Is not fit for purpose or is of unacceptable quality

We will work with you promptly to resolve these issues.

3. How to Return an Item

To start a return:

  1. Email us at sales@tuppie.co.nz with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Pack the item securely — we recommend using a tracked shipping service.
  3. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.


4. Refund Processing

Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the return.

If you haven’t received your refund after this time, please check with your bank or card provider first.


5. Sale Items

Only regular-priced items can be refunded.

Sale items may be eligible for exchange or store credit only.


6. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to the recipient, we will issue a gift credit for the value of the returned item.


7. Shipping Costs

You are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.

If an item is faulty and a return is accepted under CGA terms, we will refund reasonable return postage costs where appropriate.
